Wisconsin Rural Women’s Initiative Receives Helen Daniels Bader Grant for Eldering with Attitude Program
WRWI is pleased to invite participants to the Wisconsin Dells on April 29, 2017 to engage in our weekend event, “Winsome, Wonder, or Wise Woman; Which One Are You?” Join us for an enriching weekend of relaxation, self-development, and exploration of life stages.
Invite a sister, friend, or daughter (18 or over, please) to explore who you are in your particular stage of life, whether you be winsome, wonderful, or wise.
Eldering With Attitude is about changing our perspective so we can experience growing older in a way that allows for the rest of our lives to be filled with love, health, happiness, creative self- expression, and value. It means we can relate to people of all ages with respect and dignity and live life believing we have something to contribute.
Because of the support of the Helen Daniels Bader Fund-A Bader Philanthropy, partial scholarships are available to all participants. Facilitators at the event include Mary Bub, recipient of the Wisconsin’s Top Rural Development Initiative award, Barb Murray, a certified Sageing leader, and Caryn Bub-Standal, LCSW and Program Director.
Director of Administration, Christine Harteau, states “We are excited to offer this program and are grateful for the continued support of the Helen Daniels Bader Fund.” Scheduled for April 29, 2017 at the Wintergreen Resort in Lake Delton, WI, the program will run from 9:00 am Saturday to 2:00 pm Sunday. The cost to attend is $50.00, which includes lodging, food, and program materials.
